I met Gammill a couple months ago. He's been writing for shows like SNL and the Simpsons for years but he's also a big comics fan. His 'How to Draw' videos on You Tube are pretty funny too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, those are great. He's a really funny guy. I was put-off by his strip at first— I was thinking it'd be like really modern stuff— but I felt like I got it after watching those videos. He's got a really old-time corny vibe. I showed it to a friend who thought I was insane cause I told him it was funny stuff. I can't really explain why I find it funny, which is the best kind of funny, imo.
