Coo-Coo Comics #22, 3 of 3

This is the last of Standard's Coo-Coo Comics #22 from February 1946.

A lot of animators did funny animal comics, so the manuel Perez that illustrated this story was most likely this one. Hubie Karp, another animator, wrote a lot of these comics, often in collaboration with his sister.
When perusing old comic books and funny pages, you'll notice a lot of the ads were comic strips themselves. It's the comics equivalent to Hannah Horvath's job writing ad copy disguised as magazine copy.
