Despite Charlton's supposed mob connections, they were also the first place a lot of fanzine people first got their start as they were becoming pros. Many went on to be in the final issues of NOT BRAND ECCH.

GO-GO #6, 1 of 4

Supposedly, Charlton Comics was owned by the mob. I don't know if that's true but I wouldn't be surprised. It all adds up. Most of their contributors didn't work anywhere else, they were printed by a press not meant for comics, their means of distribution wasn't limited to newsstands, they weren't well proofread, I've been told they eventually paid their contributors in copies, etc.

Anyway, herewith was their attempt at doing a teen/humor comic in the late 60s.
