Sick #64, 1 of 3

Here's the first part of Sick # 64 from December 1968.

Long-time followers may ask why I've been posting issues out of order, The short answer is they're the order in which I've been acquiring them.

Cover by Bruce Stark after not making the cut as one of Mad's “usual gang of idiots”.
Charles Rodrigues did the gag. I don't know if it or the caption came first.

Sick #65, 1 of 3

This was another issue of Sick, #65 from February 1969. The artist, Bruce Stark, was almost one of MAD's ”usual gang of idiots” and though he didn't quite make the cut, was still a prominent commercial artist.

See if you can guess which of these celebrities is still alive.
Inside front and back cover by Harry “The Professor” Borgman was also a pullout poster
Art by Bill Kresse. Again, see if you can guess which of these celebrities is still alive today.
Parody of The Swimmer. Unlike MAD's parodies (with a few exceptions), many of the movies its competitors did are not remembered today.
I'm not sure which Supreme Court case they're referring to that “coddles criminals”. Miranda v. Arizona two years earlier? That's controversial? Reading someone their rights leads to lawlessness? Okay, I guess time were different back then.
