Every year, Playboy would run a feature of verse summing up the events from the year with caricatures by Bill Utterback. Earlier installments were posted last week. They're interesting to look at from a historical perspective, to find out what was going on then.

Each piece is from the January issue following the year mentioned in the piece.

First, Playboy would run something called Retroactive New Years' Resolutions, the joke being that the resolutions were the opposite of what happened with a personality in the news that year.

They were in the January issues after the years mentioned in the headings of the pieces, if they are.
