New Terrytoons, part 5

We now come to the end of this issue of New Terrytoons continuing with the parade of lesser-known animated characters. Here we have Little Roquefort:
And Gandy Goose
We end with a character you've heard of, one Deputy Dawg
This was the inside back cover
Like with other Gold Key titles of the time, the back cover was the same as the front.

New Terrytoons, part 4

New Terrytoons, part 4 Here's more stories from this issue of New Terrytoons with characters you may never have heard of.

Here's one of Hector Heathcote
Cartoons of Hashimoto-San are never shown today, but I have no idea if it's because it was an ethnic stereotype or it was like many of the other Terrytoons that were never sold into syndication. Aside from the usual reduction of all Asian cultures into one, the series wasn't any more offensive than Speedy Gonzales, so here's that strip.

New Terrytoons, part 3

Here are more of the obscure Terrytoons characters I was telling you about that were in this 80-page kids' comic from 1963.

First is Dinky Duck. I don't remember cartoons of his on TV but they were present when they showed cartoons in some fast food restaurants were playgrounds are now, and coin-op machines in discount stores back when those still existed.
Tom Terrific is more ubiquitous now thanks to venues like You Tube, though this story is nowhere near as stylized as those cartoons.

New Terrytoons, part 2

I told you a bit about this issue of New Terrytoons and a bit about the animation studio last Wednesday. I told you that later in the issue were the more obscure characters that didn't endure.

The stories were all hosted by Deputy Dawg in an Our Town-type role. Here he introduces a story with Clint Clobber.
Silly Sidney, also known as Sick, Sick Sidney.
