Hot Rod Cartoons, 1 of 4
One of the many of the West Coast magazines from Petersen Publishing in the 60s, mostly centered on car culture. Previously I've posted pages from CAR-Toons, Drag Cartoons, and Surf-Toons. Some day I'll have issues of Cycle-Toons, which I've never seen. Here are some pages from Hot Rod Cartoons, this one from November 1966.
I believe the person driving is probably Pappy Lemmons, one of the main custom car figures like Ed “Big Daddy” Roth.
