Saul Steinberg was a regular contributor to The New Yorker until his death. He's probably most famous for the ”View of the World” cover he did for them.
He's being included in the category because they're cartoons you won't get. The thing about that is there is nothing to get. Just funny drawings. Here were some cartoons he did for various issues of New Yorker in 1960. Previous installments are here and here.
