Here's more of this issue of Sick from June 1979. The previous few pages were posted here last week, as was some of the story behind this magazine and its publisher.
They couldn't afford typesetting at this point, so the material was either hand-lettered or typewritten. Here's their parody of Lord of the Rings, the original animated feature. It was written and drawn by Dave Manak, who contributed to other humor magazines, eventually becoming a regular at Mad, doing Spy vs. Spy for several years.
Most of the work in the magazine is by Jack Sparling, their final editor.
Parents are leaving their children up to their aunt to care for a few days,
she asked for all their information, which made them realize how little
they had organized that part of their life: ‘Felt like a kid on an adult's
body.’
