Magic Whistle Radio Hour 61

Things I've collected over the years or acquired on mixtapes and comps or gathered from the internet or the library or my parents' attic. The different sources are the reason for the volume disparity. I make no claims to "discovering" or "owning" anything. Probably neither do you. It's whatever I feel like playing that week. Things that may or may not be familiar. Who knows? Past weeks here too. Just type "Audio" in the search engine. Or if you're too lazy to press a button more than once, here's everything from 2015. You don't get the playlists, though, and you can't get the shows after that. You can right-click this if you want to save a zip file of this one (containing an mp3 of the file) for later. Here what information I was able to find:

THE HONG KONGS- Surfin' In the China Sea
it's because of things like this I have my apologetic disclaimer on the right.
THE ROCKETS- Big Leg Mama (1953)
CHET & CHARLIE- The Apartment
DAFFY DUCK- Carolina In The Morning
Daffy Duck as Cab Calloway from Book Revue, 1946

VAUGHN DELEATH- Banana Oil (1925)
WENDY HILL- (Gary Please Don't Sell) My Diamond Ring (1965)
answer song to This Diamond Ring
MEL BLANC- Woody Woodpecker Meets Davy Crockett (1955)
MEL BLANC- It's Lots Of Fun To Share (1954)
NATIONAL LAMPOON- Canadian Newsreel
written by Bruce McCall, from National Lampoon Radio Hour, circa 1974

JOHNNIE WALKER- You're All Mine (1964)
JIMMY HEAP- Sebbin Come Elebbin (1955)
MARIO MENDEZ- No Puedo Mas
DINAH SHORE- Thirteen Men (1958)
BIG KELLY & CONRAD- Ain't Hit A Shame
AUDREY & JAYNE MEADOWS- Japanese Rhumba (1955)
LITTLE SYLVIA- Drive Daddy Drive (1952)
BERNIE LAWRENCE- Collecting Girls (1961)
BOBBIE WARREN- Cold War
LINK WRAY- Rumble (1958)
CHARLES TRENET- La Mer (1946)
CLIFF FERRÉ- Ain't It A Beauty (The Garden Hose Song) (1956)
CHRISTINE JORGENSEN- Crazy Little Men (1958)
You think I'm making fun of her being trans but really we're laughing at the space theme and funny noises. It's 2016. Grow up, people!
