Like my disclaimer on the side says, there are standards we wouldn't conform to today. This comic is almost seventy years old and as such reflects times when we as white people didn't know any better, and portrayed non-whites as inferior beings. Much of the greatest media and literature of the past has such negative caricaturing, which though problematic does not take away from the rest of its artistry.
