Magic Whistle Audio Elucidation 8

Believe it or not, I've got this booked up for the next two years, only because it took a couple hours to put 100 shows together. I haven't edited them all or anything though, just put them each in folders. I may take requests anyway though if you also have mp3s. Here's #8 now, songs with the usual combination of both politically correct and incorrect, therefore bringing everyone together.

Also right clicking this will download a file you can play later.

The info is as follows:

BETTY HUTTON- Who Kicked the Lightbulb Out Of the Socket? (1950)
THE LADYBUGS- Fraternity U.S.A. (1964)
   Fraternities had a...uh...different...reputation back then.
MAE GLOVER- Gas Man Blues (c. 1930)
   duet with John Byrd
THE SHITBIRDS- I Want You (1994)
TERRY TEENE- The Curse Of the Hearse (1962)
PHIL CAMPOS- Street Fight
TOM LEHRER- Silent E
from The Electric Company, c. 1973
THE VIKINGS- Nicotine (c. 1960)
DON ELLIOTT & THE COWBOYS w/JIMMY CARROLL ORCHESTRA-  Ooch, Ooch, Ouch!
BRIAN MCCONNACHIE- Public Disservice Message
from National Lampoon Radio Hour, 1974
SAUL T. PETER- Don't Give Me No Goose For Christmas, Mama
from My Pussy Belongs To Daddy, 1957
JEANNIE HAYES- Loving A Siamese Twin
I know the proper term is “conjoined” but remember this was fifty years ago.
from Fink Along With MAD, 1964

LOUIS JORDAN- Somebody Done Changed the Lock (1945)
LORD ROCKINGHAM'S XI- Hoots Mon (1958)
THE UPSETTERS- The Strip (1960)
JUDY CARNE- Sock It to Me (1968)
I compiled this before hearing about her co-star Gary Owens.

CAROL CHAPELLE- I Married An Acrobat
TROY HESS- Please Don't Go Topless, Mother
LITTLE EVA- Carry Me Back to Ol' Virginny
   From Uncle Tom's Cabaña, 1947
True, this was initially a slave song, but then again so was the theme song for Splash Mountain.

MIKE EVANS- Gruesome (1967)
   parody of Gloria

GEORGE FORMBY- The Left Hand Side Of Egypt (1941)
J. J. JACKSON- Oh-Mah-Liddi
DUDLEY MOORE- Love Me
   From soundtrack to Bedazzled, 1967
THE SAVOYS- The Mortal Monster Man (1959)
THE CLOVERS- The Rotten Cocksuckers Ball (c.1955)
parody of Darktown Strutters' Ball, not released until years later.

ROD MCKUEN- Celebrity Twist (1961)
JIM BACKUS- I Need A Vacation (1958)
And while I still have as few shows as I do so far, here are the previous seven.
