It's difficult to imagine now, but at one time black and white humor magazines were once aimed at college audiences.

Ric Estrada did various DC Comics in the 70s as well as a couple stories for TWO-FISTED TALES.

When MAD started being heavily imitated in the 50s, they made an article called “How To Put Out an Imitation of MAD” to which many of them replied.
