The one thing many of these parody comics all have in common is the chicken fat perfected by Kurtzman and Elder only without the subtlety (by comparison) they were able to pull off. I said before I usually don't like when creators parody their own characters, though somebody pointed out it's interesting to see artists like Jack Kirby and Gene Colan doing humor and I have to agree with that.
