Lady Luck
The Spirit strips have been reprinted countless times in different formats over the years. This is because Eisner had the forethought to save things he thought might be worth something in the future. Comics history doesn't remember that his section was 16 pages in the newspapers and had other features as well. One such feature was a strip called LADY LUCK, which eventually had its own comic. If the creators of those other features had the same business acumen, they might be reprinted just as much as THE SPIRIT has been, and maybe awards would be named after them instead. And through chaos theory, we'd have flying cars.
