As the contents page says of this article in a description that not only doesn't entirely have much to do with the article but is long outdated:
A protest against the policies of most airliners who have taken to showing movies aboard. If this keeps up we may soon have floor shows, full orchestra shows, and maybe the most improbable sight of any airliner—a stewardess who's over 32.

This parody of Get Smart drawn by Angelo Torres parodies not just that show but the TV spy genre as a whole.

The contents page, which refers to it as Super Spies TV Special says of it, “A complicated TV mishmash in which various super spies get involved with one another—a mishmash so complicated that Inspector Waverly winds up getting the girl! This is the story of a spy who goes to work in Woolworth's and becomes a counterspy—and winds up being an agent in a Turkish bath!”

For those of you who think Bill Cosby's career began with Dr. Huxtable and don't know at one time people liked him, here's proof to contradict what you thought.

Teenman, drawn by George Tuska, is also highlighted on the contents page:

“This time out, Teenman tackles the draft dodgers of this country—guys so tough that instead of burning their draft cards they burn their draft boards! It all started when Teenman saw a sign “Draft Dodgers” and got very mad—he happens to be a Los Angeles baseball fan!”

Sick #45, 1 of 3

Despite what it says on the cover, this was the 45th issue of Sick magazine for June 1966.

The contents page's description of the cover had this to say:

“Ye editor, JOE SIMON, who drew the cover, had to pose for it himself. Everybody he asked to pose said they needed it like a hole in the head.”

Often their contents page had gag cartoons purchased by one of the company' other magazines.

The contents page says it's “A gripping parody of a grappling TV series, this show really captures the Old West—and proceeds to beat it to death! The series is big and sprawling—especially when the leading lady, Barbara Stanwyck, forgets to put on her girdle!”

The contents page was most likely written before seeing the articles inside. I say this because it refers to this as 'The Origin of Comicman'. It also says: ”A true account of one of the beginnings of the great adventure comic book heroes of our time—an account which will set him back to where he started! We won't tell you who we're parodying—but this story will drive you bats!”
