This is the 49th issue of Sick magazine from December 1966. The previous installment was posted last week.

The art seems to come from mens' adventure magazines from the same publishing umbrella.

The contents page describes this article thusly: “More SICK limericks, this time pertaining to different types of jobs—which the writer of these limericks will no doubt be looking for soon!

“These limericks are unusual in that they're written in blank verse—each verse rhymes but leaves you blank!”

I'm not sure I understand what they're trying to say. If the point is that one superstition is no different from another, I'd agree, but I have the feeling in this strip they think the missionary is the superior one.

This was the cover to the June 1967 issue of Sick, done by a teenage B.K. Taylor. For some reason the covers all said “Spoof” on them, I guess so you'd know what kind of magazine it was.

And this is what the cover looked like without the tears and markings.

This isn't credited, though it looks like the art was by Angelo Torres.
