Magic Whistle Radio Hour 266

Things I've collected over the years or acquired on mixtapes and comps or gathered from the internet or the library or my parents' attic. The different sources are the reason for the volume disparity. I make no claims to "discovering" or "owning" anything. Probably neither do you. It's whatever I feel like playing that week. Every Saturday. No repeats. Things that may or may not be familiar. Who knows? The time's next to each song in case you don't like something or it's icky or if you don't want your kids to hear it. Don't let offense at one song cloud your impression of the curation as a whole. Past weeks here too. Just type "Audio" in the search engine. Or if you're too lazy to press a button more than once, here's everything up to December 2018. You don't get the all playlists, though. You can right-click this if you want to save a zip file of this one (containing an mp3 of the file) for later. Here what information I was able to find:

0:00 LISA KIRK w/THE PERCY FAITH ORCHESTRA- A Smile and a Ribbon (1956)
2:13 ANN-MARGRET- You Turned My Head Around (1968)
5:35 BIG DADDY G- Berry Man (Boss Man Guitar) (1963)
7:15 SHEILA- A La Meme Heure (Laugh at Me) (1965)
10:08 THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS- Chocolate (1962)
12:47 DON MARTIN- Everybody's Got a Girl (But Me)
14:27 THE MODERN MOUNTAINEERS- Everybody's Truckin' (Everybody's Doin' It Now) (1937)
Sorry for the racism in this song. I picked it for the innuendo and didn't notice upon first listening and until after editing it. Why I have a clock next to each song now.
16:53 DICKIE GOODMAN- Flying Saucer Goes West (1958)
19:12 JANIE DAVIDS- Gotta Get Even (with Elvis Presley's Sergeant) (1957)
“On 'GOTTA GET EVEN (with Elvis Presley's Sergeant)', JANIE DAVIDS displays the ample stylistic know-how we believe will lead her to lasting vocal prominence. She is assisted here by THE FOUR LETTERMEN. Crowd reactions come from the young ladies of THE ELVIS PRESLEY FAN CLUB of CANOGA PARK, CALIFORNIA. (In deference to their youth, the session was held on a Saturday afternoon.) DON BLAKE officiated at the controls for WESTERN RECORDERS...”

21:22 JEAN-JACQUES PERREY- Gossipo Perpetuo (1970)
23:28 HOMER ESCAMILLA- In the Year 1900 (1956)
