Four-Color Comics, didn't just adapt forgotten comic strips, they also did a comic book version of probably the most famous strip of all time, Peanuts (Though it wasn't yet when this was done). Here's #878 from 1958. Schulz didn't draw these though, they were mimicked by either Dale Hale or Jim Sasseville.
