Here's Cracked #134 from August 1976 and the beginning of them using the Fonz several times a year to sell copies.

As it says about the cover on its contents page:

Heyyyy! Sylvester! When we said we wanted to do a take-off on “the Fonze”, we didn't mean to TAKE OFF his leather jacket! Everyone knows that no one does that! Oh well, enjoy being “cool” while you can, 'cause in a minute you're going to be out “cold”!
